• When I click on the thumbnails for most images in my galleries in IE9, the Loading Bar appears and freezes. Everything works fine in Firefox.

Here is a link to the site I am building https://www.lauritashieldsdesign.com

Strangely, in the first gallery “America’s Best Dance….” all the images work. In the second gallery “Box of Moonlight” only some of them will show the image. For the rest of the galleries it mostly gets stuck Loading. Again, this is only in IE, Firefox is fine.

Does it have something to do with the aspect ratio of the image resizing script? Do I maybe have some settings wrong? The image files I uploaded to the gallery aren’t especially huge, and some of the smaller ones (750x350px)don’t work just as much as the larger ones (largest is 700x1000px).

I am using a custom theme based off of Twenty-Ten, WordPress 3.1, with NextGEN 1.7.4. I switched the theme back to plain Twenty-Ten to make sure that it wasn’t something in my custom theme and still had the same problem.

I’d greatly appreciate any help. If you need more info, just let me know.

    Thanks!

I did a bunch of things and either one of them or some combination of them worked. Whew!

Here’s some things to try if you are having a similar issue. Select the Thickbox effect in Options/Effects. Delete all the images from my galleries, clear the cache and then load them up again. Deselect “Integrate Slideshow.”

Changing to the Thickbox option in the area you described worked perfectly for me. Thanks!
