[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Images opening in new window?

  • I know there have been other posts on this topic but as far as I can see all unresolved!? Can any one PLEASE help? The Ajax/Java effect no longer works on my galleries? It looks plain horrible opening in a new browser window. Any help very much appreciated?

  • Go to ‘NextGen Gallery > Options > Effects’ and select the Javascript effect that you want, I think Thickbox is included by default with NextGen. For others like Lightbox, you’ll have to upload the JS files to your server and load them in your header. NextGen will output the necessary code to make them work once you have the Javascript hooked up.
