[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Incompatible with Contact Form 7 plugin, fatal error on upload

  • This image upload for this plugin doesn’t work if I also have the Contact Form 7 plugin installed and active.

    When attempting to upload images, the NextGen Upload modal gives me the following fatal error: “Fatal error: Call to undefined function wpcf7_add_tag_generator() in /[MY PATH TO WORDPRESS]/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/modules/text.php on line 152”

    Upload then fails and image gallery contains no images.

    Deactivating Contact Form 7 permits NextGen to upload properly.

    Line 152 in the Contact Form 7 plugin text.php file is:

    “wpcf7_add_tag_generator( ‘text’, __( ‘Text field’, ‘wpcf7’ ),”

    …which is inside a function to add tag generator text and email.

    Is there a resolution available for this conflict? Thanks!
