[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Messing website's google indexation

    Hello
    I have AllinoneSEO, NextGEN Gallery and when I type my site’s name in google, instead of the description of the site (that i carefully entered on WP, AIOSEO’s main and each single pages/posts of the site,) I have my image filenames (which are named after 3 keywords) appearing.
    So it seems that since a few releases NEXTGEN integrated a powerful SEO script that takes over All In One SEO plugin and any SEO techniques i use ??
    how can I have the text or SEO description appearing on google results instead of having the jpg filenames appearing
    (apparently the HTML script is indexed instead of the page’s text)

    I’ve heard people having trouble with this but cannot find a post on this forum.

    I actually noticed something worse!
    This kind of link ranks too well on google (since the last few NextGEN releases.) it looks like this on google:

    pagetitle – Sitename
    https://www.mysite.com/index.php?callback=imagerotator&789
    galleryname – filetitle https://www.mysite.com/wp-content/gallery/gh …

    and when u click on it in google, it takes you to a long xml file
    listing all the pictures on the gallery like

<title>gh-f</title>
<trackList>
<track>

https://www.mysite.com/wp-content/gallery/gh-f/a-FL1-left.jpg

    How can I exclude these NextGEN generated xml and scripts from being crawled?
    Is it possible to find the location of these files via ftp browsing (the xml file url is a command, not pinpointing the file’s actual location)

    Else, to reply to you daluxe, the sites’ index meta descrition is a text i wrote (the same text used with all seo tools), same for pages.
    it appears on google results fine but sometimes google instead of the description puts the pictures file names (named as keyword lists) interlaced with their position (id) in the gallery:

    How can we control the info NextGEN sends to search engines?

    DO a check on your site: google its url and if you have next gen, you might see some dodgy scripts ranking well….
