[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Need Doc : Gallery vs Album

    Hello

    I’m a newbie with wordpress … but it so simple that I did manage to make many things.

    I’ve just added NextGEN gallery … It look very fine but I need some documentation (all the more than I’m not English speaking).

    Therre is one thing I don’t understand : what is the difference between album and Gallery.
    I notices an album is made of one or more gallery … but I don’t manage to understand more.

    I someone could explain me (and if ther is a french documentation, I would be nice ?? )

    Sorry, no French.

    An album is a collection of galleries. If you use the shortcode `[album id=1]’ on a page, it will show a list of all the galleries in that album. If you then click on a gallery, it will show the pictures in that gallery.

    If you use the [nggallery id=17] shortcode, it will go directly to the gallery showing the pictures in that gallery.

    An album is just a way to group galleries into a page.

    It is amazing, that this definition does NOT appear anywhere in the Help, FAQ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    It is expected, that the user know this. Very wrong. The beginner does not know anything, that’s why he is a beginner, and it is very important to define new words / concepts.
