I’m also getting memory errors when I try to resize images, and when I try to creat the thumbnails after the images are uploaded.

    For example:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 3200 bytes) in /hermes/web06b/b1697/moo.grunzs/blog/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/lib/gd.thumbnail.inc.php on line 428

My host already increased the php memory limit on my account to 64MB.

Try asking them increase the memory further to 128MB.

Great! They can’t…or won’t increase it. They told me 64MB is the max.

So obviously the problem is I’m uploading images that are way too big.

So what is the max size the plugin will support, before php me needs to be significantly increased?

Also is there a setting in there somewhere to resize images when they upload?
