• Hey,

I would like to have a page on my blog called ‘pictures’ or ‘photos’ and have on that page links to all my galleries with pictures.

I divide my pictures per month, so each gallery represents a month in the year. Is it possible that each month could be represented by a thumbnail from one of the pictures from the respective gallery of that month and the name of the month under it.

I hope that it is possible then, when you click on the thumbnail or name, it opens on a new page and you can see the thumbnails of all pictures of that month and flip through them with the help of the Lightbox feature.

Thanks for any help on this!

  • Hi Kadr,
was there any solution for your problem? I have the same question!

Not sure if this is what you are looking for but can’t you just create an album and place all of your galleries into that album. Then create a page in wp and place the shortcode [album id=0]. You could also use the compact template like so `[album id=0 template=compact]’.

    Hi Paul,

thanks – I already did it like you suggested. I thought there could be a other way, because this doesn`t seem to be the original function of a album.
