I want to use the gallery subpage/gallery page link function in NextGen Gallery, and it works for some of my galleries, but only those that have a Page ID assigned to them. I noticed that a couple galleries have a Page ID of “0”, and therefore won’t link to their respective page.

How do I assign a Page ID to a gallery? I’m wondering how some of my galleries ended up with a Page ID but some didn’t.

    Thanks!

    bump

    Go to Manage Gallery
Choose a gallery that has a Page ID of “0”
On the gallery page, look at the top right side
    Find “Create New Page:”
Click on “Add Page” right below the parent page box.
    Click Save Changes

Now you have automatically created a page and it will appear on the top left under “Page Link to:”

If you want the gallery to be a subpage, then choose one of the pages in the dropdown box next to Create New Page AFTER you have added the new page.

    That is the easiest method.

    The manual method is:
You can always manually create the page in WordPress and insert the gallery shortcode there.
Then on the right side, choose whether it is a main page or a sub-page of another gallery.
