• Using NextGEN along with with “Effects for NextGEN” plugin for it’s Lightbox effect.

Ajax pagination enabled, JavaScript Thumbnail effect set to “Lighbox”.

Embedding the gallery on homepage and hovering over the ‘next page’ icon shows the url as ‘…/?nggpage=2’ and links to a totally wonky page displaying nothing.

Embedding gallery on another page however, shows the link to the next page as ‘…/currentPageName/?preview=true&preview_nonce=f8…blah blah’ and behavious itself properly, i.e. reloads the gallery with it’s next set of pictures.

Setting the JavaScript Thumbnail effect to ‘shutter’ maeks it works perfectly normaly of course, but I don’t see why this would work on a sub page but not the home page.

Anyone got any idea how/why/what the hell is going on?

    Cheers!

  • I have exactly the same problem as you, if i set the permalinks to default the problem disappear. But i would like to use permalinks for my pages/posts….

nobody knows how to solve this?

I’m having this same problem and just created this post about it last night. Would love to find some solution to this. I tried changing my permalinks to default and then switching back, but the problem remains no matter what I do.
