    VERY FRUSTRATED!!
Trying to set up NextGen Gallery for the first time.
The error that I am getting is: The path to imagerotator.swf is not defined, the slideshow will not work.
I downloaded the current version, tried putting it in 3 locations:
    wp-content/uploads
    wp-content/gallery
    p-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery
These are based on solutions found on this forum, dpotter.net, and jeroenwijering.com (the plugin developer).

I also unchecked “Organize my uploads into month- and year-based folders” in misc. settings, and emptied the “Store uploads in this folder” field.

Hours of research, and still the same error. Anybody got any suggestions?
    Thanks in advance!

Well, I finally found out how to show the image gallery on the page, and when I did, it worked. (On Edit Page, click the icon “Add NextGen Gallery,”).

Te red error that says it isn’t going to work is still displayed, but it is wrong! The gallery works great!!
