[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Permalinks Keep breaking

  • My permalink structure is ‘day and name’ and my gallery slug name ‘is gallery’ and I have the ‘activate permalinks’ option ticked.

    Everyday my gallery image permalinks keep breaking and I have to keep going to settings/permalinks and resaving – can someone please tell me how to fix this as I have over 300 galleries and this is causing a lot of 404s.

  • Permalink settings are stored in your .htaccess file. Check to see wether your setttings in that file are still there next time the problem recurs (before you update permalinks). Check them again after you’ve updated permalinks.
