[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] plug wont upgrade on wpmu sub domain

    First I get this… The script detect that you upgrade from a older version. Your database tables for NextGEN Gallery is out-of-date, and must be upgraded before you can continue. If you would like to downgrade later, please make first a complete backup of your database and the images. The upgrade process may take a while, so please be patient.

    Then I get this… Upgrade successful Continue…

    I’m excluded from all the Gallery setting in the admin sidebar.

  • I have a question about multisite with domain mapping.

    I’ve enabled NextGen and changed all folders from /wp-content/blogs.dir/* writable to 777.

    I added “wp-content/blogs.dir/%BLOG_ID%/files/” to NextGen Gallery path.

    I have this file structure in blogs.dir

    -blogs.dir/2/files
    -blogs.dir/3/files

    For some reason, I keep getting that the files are not writable by the server. Things are not working.

    I believe I’m running the latest version of NextGen avail on the Codex. I have not downloaded 1.7 yet, because I saw it was a read only and only in beta.

    Then change permissions on those folders so the plugin can write to them. ??

    @andrea_r – I did change the permisssions–to 777, as I wrote in my post, and that still is not working properly. It’s not the permissions, there is an issue with the path. I think the path in 1.6.0 is set somehow to point to another directory. I’ve read it was fixed in 1.7.0, but that is not available yet.
