Good evening guys. I have spent most of today working on a solution to the following problem:

    https://i558.photobucket.com/albums/ss25/FScheltens/Miscellanious/foutuitlijning.jpg

Using Firebug I worked out that the border of the first photo on the first row was lower than the border of the first photo on the second row. This caused the photo on the second row to be pushed to the right. On some pages of the gallery, a LOT.
I fixed this by editing the file “nggallery.css” and i did two things:
-Increase the margin between rows to make room for the vertical thumbnails.
-Assign a fixed height to the boxes containing the thumbnails.
    (at .ngg-gallery-thumbnail)

My CSS file now looks like this:

I hope this helps you guys out, and appreciate any feedback. Note that i am NOT a CSS programmer, just a tinkerer.
You can check out the result here.

Anyone interested in a copy of the CSS file can email me at fscheltens at yahoo dot com and i will email them a copy of the CSS file i currently use.
Note that the file should be put in the directory:
    “wp-content\plugins\nextgen-gallery\css”.
