• I hope what I am about to say makes sense, I will try to break it down as best I can.

    1. We have a WordPress multisite install that contains about 150 sites.
    2. All sites are business sites that we have broken down to geographical areas based on where our business has a presence (Seattle, Los Angeles etc)
    3. We would like to be able to setup/edit/maintain all the galleries for these various sites on the main site and then be able to display those various galleries on the “sub sites” so we can manage all galleries from the main install.
    4. Ideally, displaying the galleries on each sub site would be done using a short code but other options are of course welcome as well.

I ended up making my own solution. I set it up so I basically upload a set of images to a folder.. in the WordPress page editor I added some extra meta boxes for things like “Name” and so on.. the name field matches the folder name and takes the images in that folder and does a foreach on them, displaying them on the “gallery” page in a nice slideshow/lightbox setup with a carousel of thumbnails across the bottom… works on the main site, subdomains and even mapped domains so it will work for what I need.

If you come up with any better solution, please feel free to share ??
