[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Rate single pics in slide show?

Is there any way to set up the ability for viewers to rate pics while looking at them in a slide show?

I’m using the NGG Voting plugin, which allows you to set up star ratings for the thumbnails, but I don’t see any way to make that happen in the slide show (I’m using the Highslide effect).

Also, I know it’s not your plugin, but I can’t get an answer from the NGG Voting folks, and I thought maybe you’d be familiar with this problem and know how to fix it: When someone votes (rates) an image on my site, they get an error message – “There was a problem saving your vote, please try again in a few moments” – The vote actually does get registered, but the viewer has to refresh the page.
