[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Shows no thumbnail, only textlink

Hi guys,
my NextGEN Gallery does not show any thumbnail but only textlinks?
you can see here:
https://www.bilder-monarch.de/?page_id=2there’s a jpg textlink! could that be due to having php safe mode on? what else could be the reason?
