[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Shutter resizing drops caption and navigation

Using the shutter image display option in NextGen gallery (I like the no-frills display and navigation controls of this option) and resizing the browser height below that of the images to be displayed, the caption and navigation controls drop out of sight below the scaled image. Any recommendations on how to make space for these elements?
