    Hello,

Does it happen when you try to work it with the default images of the plugin?

I have the exact same problem, tried all kinds of things, including making the size of the pictures smaller, using less pictures, nothing works.
I have no idea what you mean by default images, there are no default images in the plugin as far as I can see.
I am using safari, mozilla and internet explorer and all show the same icon loading but nothing happens.
Is this a bug or is there something I can change? I’m pretty sure I checked and unchecked all options to see if it would make a difference.
BTW I do have flash installed, that is not the problem.
    Thanks

That’s odd. I’m using the same plugin with no problem. Have you had it working before when you first installed it? Might have crashed after an update?

Hello, for some reason ngg slideshow stopped working for me too, but only in some cases…i have few working slideshows and few others that don’t show. Its happening since i updated to 1.7.4 i think.

Ok everyone, I think I found the reason.
It took me a lot of searching so this might be something worth mentioning more clearly on the options page

You probably know that you need to download the JW Image Rotator (you can see this in the options/slideshow).
If you haven’t already, click here to download it.

At first I just downloaded the zip file through FTP and put the entire folder in the upload folder of my site, but that’s not good enough.
You need to only put the imagerotator.swf file in your uploads folder, nothing else.

Oh and after that, don’t forget to go back to the options/slideshow page of your gallery in worpress and add the path to this file in the “path to image rotator”.

After this process everything worked fine for me.

Try that and let me know if it helps.

    Hi Wendy,

I tried your suggestion, but unfortunately, I’m still having the same problem where the slideshow doesn’t work, but the image gallery does. My site is https://www.toothpaste2go.com. Does anyone have anything else I can try? Thanks for the help with this.

Just wanted to let everyone know that my slideshow wasn’t working because of the GZIP Enable plugin. Not quite sure why, but once I disabled this plugin, the slideshow and the entire NGG plugin works great!

Thanks Wendy, your suggestion worked for me – after 12 hours of trying different ideas Thank you!

Custom Contacts Forms!!!! Everybody with this problem try disabling plugins and find out which one is crashing it
