[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Slideshow Widget Not Resizing

  • Trying to get the slideshow to resize to 280×240 (my sidebar is 320), but when I try I still get the flash box as a static size. If I resize the slideshow too something smaller than 280×240 only the picture sizes change, and you see a black box hanging over the right border.

    I have tried changing the size in both the widget and in the slideshow setup in the gallery options with no luck.

    I just need to get the slideshow within the boundaries of my sidebar.

    In your Style.css you have an entry for #sidebar OBJECT which is giving a width of 300px and a height of 225px.

    I know that your Youtube video also uses that same identifier but the embed code for that does define a width and height so maybe it’s OK to comment out the #sidebar OBJECT entry and see what happens.

    Yeah, I tried to change the slideshow to that size and it would resize to that, but would still be shifted to the right too far and would run over the framing. The site is now live at www.leoaffairs.com instead of the URL above. Took the slideshow out for now since we hit deadline and will have to revisit this in a few days after we have worked out the live bugs.

    Cpyou—I was experiencing the exact same issue as you. Paulio’s idea of commenting out worked like a charm for me! I’m also using the Genesis framework that you seem to be using. Here’s a link to the site.I needed to downsize my widget slideshow images to 285 px in width as well to get everything well centered and tidy (also making certain that the widget dimensions in the widget options matched my actual image dimensions.) Needed all in conjunction, but nothing worked until I edited #sidebar OBJECT in the style sheet…. Thanks to Paulio =)
