[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] tag cloud and buy now not working after upgrade

  • Hi,

    After upgrading to wordpress 2.7 and next-gen v1.01, I get the following message “Sorry, NextGEN Buy now works only in combination with NextGEN Gallery.” The new next-gen is installed properly and I only bought the plug-in last week.

    What should I do ? Will there be an upgrade of next-gen buy now buttons or is there something I can do to the nggallery.php ?

    Also my tag cloud for next-gen gallery no longer appears or works, but at least the tags are still there in manage gallery.

    I am using the tag cloud example from Eric Li amazing website https://www.canberrapictorial.com.au/wordpress/167

    I guess other people will be having this problem after upgrade and am sure its just a matter of time before we solve it. I for one will be working hard all weekend to try and problem solve it. Any tips, advice, help, greatly appreciated !

    also search unleashed does not find next-gen pics anymore ??

    I think i’m gonna have to learn new classes (i think thats what there called), like I could not find ngg_pic2tags in nggfunctions.php file today, so there must be new names, and this is why things are not working

    I am using WP 2.7 with NextGen Gallery, and recently purchased the NextGen but now buttons. I have uploaded the file to the NextGen gallery plugin folder, but it will not show up in my admin for me to activate.

    Did you ever solve the problem?

    Hi ASM5,

    No, not yet mate. The buy now button plug-in from instinct, needs updating, as it does not work with next-gen v.1+.

    What you could do though is to post on this thread on there forum, so they keep it mind. I think they are pretty busy with wp-ecommerce, so have not had the time. I assume they will not leave it too long as people will start to ask for money back.
