[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Terminology?? and Help

  • I have a gallery list. When I click on a photo and the background turns black with some transparency. Is this the “Image Browser”

    If so, my question is how the heck do I get rid of that background effect? I don’t want it for my site. I just want nothing.

    If someone wrote documentation for this product I wonder if people would buy it? Next Gen Gallery for Dummies or something like that. It’s a pretty good plug in but it is also a black hole for time for anyone who isn’t a programmer.

    Not to lose site of my most important question: How do I get rid of that background.

  • You just need to know where to look and look at everything. The place to go is the Gallery / Options and click on the Effects tab. Then select the effect you want. The one with the black background as you describe is the Shutter effect. You can try Thickbox it has a lighter background.

    If you want to use the Imagebrowser you can select it from the NextGen button on your page/post editor when you insert a gallery onto a page/post.
