    Solved! By checking the

    Try XHTML validation (with CDATA):

It was unchecked. Now all the links above work fine

I have the same problem. In my case autoview is not working, but for example simpleview works fine.

I tried lots of things but cant make it to work! What exactly is the problem?

in my case I solved it by deactivating Vipers Video Quicktags

Same for me, I had to disable Vipers Quicktags, I have, however, already reported it to Viper so he can release a patch.

I confirm OBM and aicholzer information. I just deactivate Vipers…and everything is ok now.

I have, however, already reported it to Viper so he can release a patch.

It’s NextGEN that needs the patch. It’s using an old version of SWFObject that is incompatible with the newer version that my plugin uses.

    ?Have the same problem.
NextGEN Gallery Polaroid and NextGEN FlashViewer(autoviewer) only show the message “The Flash Player and a browser with Javascript support are needed”
The XHTML validation checkbox not solve this problem and I’ve no Vipers plugin.
So, my solution is step back to NextGEN 0.97, everything OK!!

Please read my blog post… the Flashviewer will be updated very soon

Hello, I don’t want to waste your time with this matter but I’m kinda having the same issue and I’m aware that you are going to update your plugin.

I’m trying to create a custom theme, the standart functions work fine blog updates perfectly, looks good, the code is W3C valid. There are no tables or whatsoever. But whenever I try to use your plug in I receive “The Flash Player….needed” error. The STRANGE thing for me is that if I switch back to default or classic themes or a few other themes I have the plugin works just fine!

I don’t have any widgets installed. Don’t even have any posts other than 2 to test the NextGEN Gallery. To test it out I tried the standart loop. I have a pretty straightforward layout setup (header, container,Right col, left col with side bar, footer.)
Been trying to troubleshoot, redid the layout 3 times already disabling some navigations etc. Still no luck.

Any idea or help is appreciated. Could it be about the floats or div attributes? Could they be somehow conflicting with the plugin layout?

    Thank you

    I solved the issue.
It’s AMAZING how an absolutely silly mistake can keep you up for 3 days straight.

I forgot to include <?php wp_head(); ?> function call to the header . Upon adding it between the header tags plugin started to work.

    thanks for the great plugin..
And well, due to this issue I know learned that I am able to do the samelayout in 4 different ways via css ??
