• I was looking through some galleries today and saw that the permalink for the images is now something similar to this:
    sub.domain.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/3/files/gallery-name/filename.png

I would like to keep the directory structure like this (for organizational purposes) but is there a way to make the permalinks so that the link displayed for visitors accessing the files is of the following structure?
    sub.domain.com/wp-content/gallery-name/filename.png

    Perhaps a .htaccess fix?

My bad. I just realized that even if I do a htaccess rewrite, sub.domain.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/3/files/gallery-name/filename.png is still what would be output by the NextGEN gallery shortcode.

How do I change the “Gallery path” in the Options page and the “Path” in the individual Gallery Settings page? The input boxes are now grayed out (I believe I was able to change them before).
