[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Thickbox, Lightbox, Shutter?

  • I upgraded to the most recent version of NextGEN but the images still open ugly, no pretty lightbox effect. I tried using Auto Thickbox, Lightbox and Shutter Reloaded, all with the same results. I changed the setting in NextGEN each time I tried a new plugin, but it never worked.

    Is there something I’m missing here? I have the most recent versions of all of them, and I deactiviate one before trying another. I Googled Thickbox and found a custom code for the javascript in the NextGEN settings, but that didn’t help either.

    I appreciate any help and am so thankful for these forums. They have saved my butt on many occasions!

    Apparently it’s my theme that’s causing the problem. When I have Auto Thickbox activated with the Thickbox js option selected in NextGen, it works fine in the TwentyTen theme.

    Now the question is, what do I do to make it work in my custom theme?
