Excuse my ignorance, but where do I put the short code?

In the pages editor?

Will the short code fix the thumbnail appearance?

Hi Sarah, this is actually a tricky one to spot with your naked eye. This sort of ‘step down’ effect is being caused due to the fact that your thumbnails are not all the same sizes.

You’ll notice that thumbs_058.jpg is actually one pixel taller than 057. This seemingly random pattern is occurring through several of the images, causing it to look randomly scattered.

Why they are being resized differently, however, I’m not sure.

Hmm…that is rather strange. Let me see if I can fix that in the gallery perhaps?

Yea, I would double check the sizes that you’ve specified under ‘Settings > Media’.

You could also try regenerating the thumbnails with a plugin and see if that fixes the ones with the odd height.
