[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Thumbnails problem solution?

  • As many of you (as I can see on the forum) I had a problem with thumbs generation. In my case it was not a problem of amount of memory and it was not problem of gdlib and even it was not permission-specific problem.

    If you are stucked in the same place I was before an hour you can try one more thing:
    1. Open wordpress/wp-content/plugins/.htaccess
    2. Comment out Options -Indexes by inserting # on the beginning.

    This should let you create the thumbnails. Hope this will be useful for you.

    But how this change will decrease security?
