    Hello,

I tried adjusting the setting in the gallery options. I would like this to work: Create square thumbnails, use only the width setting : 100 x 100(Crop square thumbnail from image) But when I do that, there are pictures that are stretched instead of cropping. I couldn’t really find any similar post in the forums, so I apologize if this issue has been addressed already.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    -jeff

I ended up changing the maximum values to 75x 75 and then checking the box to crop to the 75x 75 and that worked. fyi for any one else with a similar problem.

    The latest version:

    1. Select “Options” -> Thumbnails -> Set your size -> Check the box “Ignore the aspect ratio, no portrait thumbnails”

    2. Select “Manage Gallery” -> Select your gallery -> Check the “ID” box above the the images -> select “Create new thumbnails” from the dropdown and click apply. this will resize all of you existing thumbs in your gallery.

You can also skip step one and go directly to step two if you wish to only apply this once to a single gallery in your website

    Aquim Media

Seems, it can crop when height is longer than width, but not another way – it crops sides, but not header and footer of images.
So I can’t crop my 604×403 picture to 198×100, because the plugin forces it to 149×100, independently of the checkbox, but it lets me to crop 100×198. What the heck?

    Check this patch (fixes cropping):
