[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Unable to add images to gallery

After upgrading to the latest version on NextGen, I can no longer add images to existing galleries. I have not found any posts where this issue has been reported.
After adding the images, I am asked to select the gallery from a drop down list. After selecting the gallery name, I select ‘Upload’. I get a message telling me:

Error: img_name Please select a gallery

Seemingly, when a gallery is selected, it is not recognized as having been selected.

Any help would be appreciated.
