[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Update to latest Nextgen Gallery version

  • Hi everyone!

    I’m currently running nextgen gallery version 1.7.2, and I’d like to update to the latest version, mainly because of the image indexing capailabilities on google images.

    I’ve been searching everywhere but didn’t find the answer: How do I update to the new version? Do I simply have to overwrite the existing plugin folder?

    By the way, should I expect any issues when updating?

    Hi Eduardo!
    Normally your WordPress install comes with an auto update function. If this doesn’t work, just overwrite the plugin folder. There won’t be any issues except you altered the template files or something like that
