[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery Voting] Delete All Votes

You can delete all votes for each image by clicking the ‘Clear Votes’ link for each image. If you want to delete ALL votes from the system, there is no admin interface for that. But you can run the following query on your database:
TRUNCATE wp_nggv_votes;

TRUNCATE wp_nggv_votes;

Thats done the job lovely.

You need to run it as an SQL command.

Log into MySQL from your hosting control panel.

Click on the SQL tab at the top, and paste in the above command.

Press Go or Run and votes should be removed.

First of, thanks a lot for this plugin. And an awesome response time.

I got into mySQL but have like 6 databases named wp1, wp2, wp3 and so on.

Have no idea where the db you mention may be. :S

is there any way to do the same thing from within wordpress?

To find out which database your WordPress installation is using simple open wp-config.php, found in the home folder on your FTP, and look for the database name.

Once you have found the name, follow the above instructions.

Nice site. I’m glad you can put the plugin to good use.
I am working on the premium plugin now, looking at adding a cool new feature. It’s a biggie though, so not sure when it will get released.
I always like to hear new ideas for features. What’s on your mind?

the sorting options don’t seem to work for me but i was thinking more like maybe a bar graph for votes something more visual would be nice.. we plan on resetting our votes maybe ever 3 months or so but a option to export statics prior to clearing would be nice.

Just to let you guys know that I have just released an update to NextGEN Gallery Voting Premium. In the update, there are now buttons to delete ALL gallery and image votes.
