[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] what are our search options?

Hi folks. Hope everyone is well.

So, investigated some options on including nextgen galleries in the site search results, and came up mostly empty. I know alex wrote a search plug-in, but it hasn’t been updated in a while and I don’t think it includes meta data and custom fields.

Has anyone figured out a good solution for including the content from nextgen (individual pics, galleries, descriptions, etc) in your site search? Preferably including some kind of weighted or relevance in results?
