[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Why I left NG – No Drag and Drop Gallery Creation

  • What I don’t like about NG that I LOVE about Carousel is with NG I can’t just drag a bunch of pics to a WP page/post under construction and have NG make it a new gallery. Before I make my page/post I have go to into NG and make the gallery so that I can drop the shortcode in the page/post. With Carousel I drag my images into the editor when I’m making the page/post and it’s a gallery. Tada!

    What would be cool is if in the WP editor there was a NG “new gallery” button that would let you put in a title and drop the photos and it would insert the shortcode.

    Another cool idea – full integration with the WP media library. Have a way where you could make a new NG gallery by picking and choosing images from the WP media library.
