[Plugin: NextGEN Public Uploader] multi-upload possibility?

I just started using this plugin and REALLY like it! Would it be possible to enhance it to the point where users could upload multiple photos at the same time? Example: push the ‘browse’ button, navigate to your photo folder, Shift+click or Ctrl+click on several pictures and then click the ‘save’ button? The rest of the functionality would remain the same.
