[Plugin: NextGen] Remove NextGen completely manually

  • Can anybody tell me how to remove NextGen from my site comepletely so that I can re-install it? I tried to install the new version of NextGen Gallery [1.5.3] and all my portfolios disappeared from my site. I tried a couple more times and I kept getting the following error message:

    Downloading install package from https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/nextgen-gallery.zip.

    Unpacking the package.

    Installing the plugin.

    Destination folder already exists. /content/HostingPlus/m/c/mcsherry.ie/web/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/

    Plugin Install Failed.
