The problem has been sorted.

There was a conflict during the Oauth procedure with Simple Twitter Connect – disabling this during authorisation allowed it to work properly

It might be useful to show an error message if authorisation does not complete suggesting checking if any other plugin might be interfering – especially those that use the same authentication method. Not sure if this is possible however because of the stage it occurs.

I’m getting a similar error. After clicking

Authorize Your Tumblr Account <=== Authorize your account ===

Sometimes it erases my settings for a few other networks and sometimes it appears to work taking me to the deny/accept page ( but upon clicking accept I’m redirected to my website but it never loads, screen stays white )
