    @cometto I’ve not tried another “verified reviews” option. I’ve seen other purely reminder options out there even on the woocommerce site. You have to decide really if you just need the reminders capability and then even be sure another option isn’t forcing the consent option. Looked like the remixers option via the woocommerce site it was still optional.

    then decide if the 3rd party verified reviews are worth anything anymore and treat that completely separate from the on-site WC reviews themselves.

    I considered something like internal verification to be a good tool that additionally adds credibility to the process of adding reviews. At the moment, cusrev is useless to me – out of the last 20 orders, 1 person has marked consent (considering that 1 in 10 customers add them, it’s completely hopeless).

    @cometto true enough. Also I found out testing and confirmed with them that any mobile wallet orders from the CART via paypal, apple-pay, googlepay that skip the checkout page were not at all accounted for either in this change. Total mess for sure as we have 90% of users go through apple/googlepay from cart on phones. the checkout page is never touched. very little thought was put into this “requirement” and their constant copy/paste response to customers to switch off of verified reviews got old real fast.

    @ccolotti

    it’s true, very unprofessional, in my posts the developer does not respond at all.

    In my case, half of the orders are manually entered into the system, in the current system, of course, there is no way to attach consent to it – complete idiocy to force us into such dilemmas…

    @cometto yes I had not considered manual orders, but I can see how those would be a problem. reach out to me privately there might be something else. just google me my blog will come up.
