I don’t know if it’s the fault of Bitly or wordpress, I have configured WP Tu Telegram to send my posts to my channel with short links generated by Bitly.com

I have the bitly shortener plugin installed
Obviously, I have an account and I have configured the API at bitly.com

It used to work, but for a few months it doesn’t work anymore. The truth was very useful to me. Now Wp to Telegram posts to my channel with the short links generated by wordpress, even though I have everything set up fine with bitly and haven’t touched anything in the wp to Telegram settings.

I hope you can help me, regards.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Nothing related to shortlinks {short_url} has changed in WP Telegram since its first version. So it may be the bitly plugin that isn’t correctly hooked up. May be check bitly plugin log to see if it’s working properly.

Thanks for the quick response, I don’t know how to see the logs of a plugin, I’ll find out how to do it.

I have another question if the Pretty links plugin and I configure it to create automatic short links of my new posts, could these be used with WP to Telegram?

Any plugin that hooks into wp_get_shortlink function of WordPress using get_shortlink filter, should work out of the box.

WP Telegram uses wp_get_shortlink to get the short link of the post.

I’ll try it, thank you very much.
