Plugin not connecting to metamask during deployment of contracts

    Hello,

    I am having serious issue with this plugin and I urgently need your assistant.
    The problem I am having with this plugin is the deployment of contracts. When I click on “Deploy” the page will only reload and that is all. It will not show any popup from metamask for me to sign the deployment. I was doing this with testnet. I have done everything method to get it work for me but no luck.

    Please help me out here. I am looking forward to hearing from you soon. Thanks in advance.

    Sorry to hear that you are having issues.

    Check the following:

    – Do you have the last WP version installed?
    – Do you have the last version of Metamask installed?
    – Do you have the plugin updated to its last version?

    Another thing you can do is monitor your Javascript console in the browser.

    Check if there is an error, that can give you a clue.

    Finally, if nothing else works choose the theme “Twenty Nineteen” and deactivate all plugins except WPSmartContracts and try again to deploy.

    If it works this time can be another plugin or theme that is conflicting with WPSC.

    Thanks for your response.
    Well, I deactivated some plugins (except: Updraftplus, Maintenance, Wp Mail Smtp and Wp Smart Contract. Also theme was change to Twenty Nineteen Theme but after that, the deployment of smart contract worked but the following are the current issue.

    1. no smart contract showing on wordpress.

    2. Block Explorer empty. It will only reload the page.

    3. Token address not showing.

    4. the “Please connect or choose the right ethereum network” is not working. It will only reload the page nothing more.

    5. There is no “Pause” or “Resume” botton can’t be found.

    The image you shown in 1. means that no contract was deployed.

    Please remove all plugins and try again, also do not forget this step:

    “Another thing you can do is monitor your Javascript console in the browser.”

    That can lead you to the issue you are having.

    Dear,

    I have done everything but after deploying the contracts, instead of showing the ICO page. It says page not found. But when I checked the transaction on etherscan, it was successful while on wordpress, it says page not found.

    Why is the whole thing difficult and different from what you have on your documentations and tutorials or Am I not using the right plugin or what?

    Did you remove all plugins?

    Did you check the console log in the inspector in the browser when deploy?

    Did you get any error message there?

    If the contract address appears on the wp-admin but you have a 404 when browsing the ICO page refer to this question on how to solve this:

    Hi,

    Still on the issue.

    1. All the plugin was removed except “maintenance plugin”

    2. This is what I got from the inspector

    Then on console, I found this:

    Unfortunately with the given information, we cannot determine the cause of the issue.

    Do you have your site online?

    Can we get temporary access (user name and password) on it?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the support and feedback. You have done well. But from what I saw, you did that with the BLUEMOON flavour (Advanced ICO). Did you try doing that with the RASPBERRRY flavour (Pausable ICO)?. I discovered that the pausable ICO option is not working but only the advanced ICO is working. So, try to deploy a contract with the Pausable ICO you will observe that too. Just take a look.

    This issue was fixed, in the end, was an issue with the hosting provider.

    Feel free to open a new question if something else arise.
