    Hi
Commissions are not added to orders.I looked at the cookies in the console and it does not seem that a cookie is created for a user landing on a page with an affiliate ref.

    Hello there,

hope you are doing well! ??

We have done a quick test on our local site and the commission are created in the right way. Also, the cookie is created when the customer visits the link with ?ref parameter.

Could you deactivate all the plugins except WooCommerce and YITH WooCommerce Affiliates and check if it is working fine?

    Let us know.

    Hi there @screentag
Being this a public support forum, unfortunately, we have limited debug options.

Testing on a virgin installation on our end, with the latest version of WordPress and WooCommerce and a proper configuration of the server, is essential for us to confirm that plugin is working in its basic functions.

Obviously, this doesn’t mean that the problem doesn’t exist, but it is enough for us to exclude any internal problem, and focus on other causes, such as other plugins installed, the theme, or the server configuration.

This is the reason why we suggested the previous debug procedure; we fully understand this isn’t a viable test for everyone, yet it is our best suggestion to locate the issue.
That said, if you’re not able to proceed that way, there’s no problem; we can suggest alternative routes ??

For example, I’m wondering if you’re running a cache system on your site: this could prevent the cookie from being correctly set when a user visits the site using a referral link.
Can you please let me know? Can you please check if affiliate’s cookies are correctly set after visiting the site with a referral URL?
Can you kindly describe better your testing procedure, so we can check if there is some flaw in your steps?

What we have seen other dev teams doing, is to ask to be given an admin username (sent through email), so they can investigate on the issue.

Anyone who takes that offer risks getting their plugins removed from this site and banned. It’s that serious. Do not make that offer again, that’s not permitted. There is not a scenario where that’s encouraged. The plugin developers knows not to do that or accept that offer as that would have consequences for them.

If you do start your own topic please refrain from that offer. It’s a step too far.
