Plugin not recognizing a zero after decimal point

Hello, I am having an issue with the counter not recognizing the numeral zero after a decimal point. For instance, I want to count up from 0.01 to 1.00, but when I put in those numbers, the counter just counts from 0 to 1. However, if I input 1.01 as the final number, it displays all three digits and shows the counting correctly. It seems that if there is a zero after a decimal point it just displays a whole number, which does not work for my needs.

Is this something you can fix? Thanks.
