Plugin not saving reference to Facebook Page

    Hi there,

    I hope that you can help.

    When I first developed the website for a local nursery school, I made use of this plugin to display a Facebook feed on the site and it all worked well. However, something has changed in the last year and the feed is no longer updating.

    From the WP admin, I go to Dashboard > Facebook Feed > Feeds > [Name of feed] and, using the dropdown beside, ‘FB pages,’ I select the appropriate page and click on the Save button. However, a visit to the site’s front end shows that the feed has not updated. And returning to the admin side shows that it is as if I hadn’t seleceted a page at all.

    I have authenticated the link between the FB page and the site and clicked the, ‘Reset cache,’ button – which produces a success message, by the way – but the feed on the site does not update.

    I realise that I may well be doing something wrong. Please could I have some help with this?

    Hi,

    Could you please try the following steps? It will most likely resolve the problem, however, I should note, that the feeds you have created will be removed.

    -Go to Facebook?Feed WD and press?Uninstall.
    -Navigate to?Plugins?page and delete Facebook Feed WD
    -Reinstall the latest version and actvate it.

    Afterward, please authenticate with your account and recreate your feeds.

    I followed your instructions and it worked … well, at least on a test site, so, I expect it will on the live site.
