    this is pretty unusual as the plugin itself does not control the presence of the Activate / Deactivate links.

    Does your site is in a network (multisite)? In that case, it’s possible that the plugin is activated network-wide and you can’t deactivate it on a single sub-site.

    Or maybe is it installed in the mu-plugins directory?

    It is not a multisite installation and when opening the mu-plugins directory there are no files located there.

    Is there any other plugin not having the “Deactivate” link or Black Studio TinyMCE Widget is the only one in that situation?
