Plugin not showing up in sidebar

  • I used this plugin on a dev site and it worked perfectly. When I migrated to the stage site, the plugin doesn’t show up in the sidebar although it is working on the front end. For troubleshooting, I disabled and re-enabled the plugin to no avail. I deleted WP Store Locator and did a fresh install but no change. I left it installed then disabled all plugins except WP Store Locator and can confirm it is not a plugin conflict. I am using PHP 7 which I think may be the issue and haven’t found PHP version being discussed here. Let me know if anyone is using PHP 7 with success or if you have a suggestion to get this working again. Thank you!

    Can you try to disable the current theme for a moment, and see if that fixes it?

    You can also try to force a different menu position with this filter.

    The code has to go in the functions.php inside your active theme folder.
