Hello, when I go to install the plugin it shows as being “Not Supported” is this an issue on my end, and if so what do I need to do to fix it? I have seen other support posts about this same issue but none of them state how to fix the problem. Any help is appreciated!

Below is a link to an image of what is shown when I go to install the plugin.

    Howdy,

I’m a developer at WPSTAGING. I have a couple questions, please:

    – What’s the PHP version you’re running on?
    – What’s your WordPress version?

We have the minimums requirements of PHP 5.5 and WordPress 3.6 – that might be it.

    Best,
    Lucas

    Thanks for confirming.

I was able to install, activate and use the plugin in an isolated site that I own. The plugin also gets downloaded hundreds/thousands of times per day, so this seems to be an isolated issue.

I’d like to understand why it happens to you, though.

    – Does this happens with other plugins?
    – Does PHP have write permissions to the wp-content/plugins folder?
    – Do you already have a plugin called wp-staging in your plugins folder?
    – Do you use some sort of security plugin, or a optimization plugin provided by your hosting?

    Best,
    Lucas

    Hi @zachb4

I am sorry but WP STAGING is not supported by wordpress.com, yet.

It only works with the self-hosted WordPress version from www.ads-software.com. If we have a solution for this in the future I’d let you know.

    Have a great day

    Cheers
    René
