    Hi @hifzaa

Could you please provide greater details about the issue that you’re experiencing on your site? If possible, provide steps to reproduce the issue so we can investigate it on our end.

    Sure.

Issue: as soon as I activate the plugin my website stops working. As soon as I deactivate the plugin it starts working fine.

I also wanted to make a restricted access website, where user/customer first login before accessing the website.

    1. when I use the redirect link (https://karigarmandi.in/website-landing-page/) website does never opens and it displays a message “too many redirects” or “multiple redirects”

    2. If I do not not use redirects even then also it is malfunctioning. For example I want to send the user (customer) to the home page after s/he login but it is not happening.

I would also like to add that to reproduce the issue you may follow the steps I went through.

Note: I am using marketo theme with woocommerce plugin

    1. Install and activate the ultimate member plugin

    2. set the website as restricted website and set up a page where users are redirected for registration (in my case I want to send users here to register first: https://karigarmandi.in/website-landing-page/).

    3. Now, the website (in my case: karigar mandi.in) will not open and following error message will be displayed on the web browser: “too many redirects.”

    4. uninstall and delete plugin.

    5. website works fine now.

    6. re-install and activate the plugin. same issue appears again. Also, the pages you have defined in settings> general are not opening as defined. For example: I have defined login page as home but user is not going to home page after login. Its going to wordpress’s default user login page.

    Hi @hifzaa

You should not make the homepage a Login page. It should be another Login page. Please try creating a dedicated page for the Login page with the UM Login form shortcode.

    Hi Champ,

    1. I have a cover page for my website where register/ login buttons are provided. Please see this https://karigarmandi.in/website-landing-page/

    2. A separate login/register page. please see here https://karigarmandi.in/my-account/

    3. And a home page. See here https://www.karigarmandi.in

I want my website to be a restricted access where only logged in users can see the home page. Anybody landing on the url https://www.karigarmandi.in must see the cover page (mention in point 1, i.e., https://karigarmandi.in/website-landing-page/ ). Then user goes to the login/ register ny clicking the buttons there. and then after login user can access the home page and other pages.

The main issue here is that I am was trying to set the cover page (mentioned in point 1) using redirect facility provided by ultimate members plugin. As soon as I set a redirect the website stops opening and webpage displays this message “too many redirects”

Can you please guide me on this?

    Hi @hifzaa

    Sorry for the late response.

Could you please provide a screenshot of the UM Content Restriction settings of the /website-landing-page/? You can upload the screenshot via imgur.com and then share the image URL here so we can review it.
