    Hey Johnnyr,

What other plugins do you have active on the site? We have seen issues with some other plugins that perform similar things overriding our plugin.

Hello thank you for taking the time to respond back to my post. Here is a complete list of all the plugins I have for my site:

    Advanced Excerpt
    Akismet
    Clef
    Fast Secure Contact Form
    Hello Dolly
    Limit Login Attempts
    Simple Custom CSS
    TinyMCE Advanced
    Toggle wpautop

Akismet and Hello Dolly are the only two plugins that are deactivated. The rest are active and being used on my site.

If possible, I would disable the other plugins one at a time to see if it fixes the issue. If it is a plugin causing it, I would guess either Advanced Excerpt, TinyMCE Advanced, or Simple Custom CSS may be causing the issue.

Also, are you using a purchased theme? it is also possible that the theme could have a setting for wpautop as well.

I deactivated the plugins one at a time and with each plugin I deactivated I did a test with my text post but the problem still persists. Unfortunately all the plugins were deactivated by the end and it still did not fix the problem. Also I am using customizr theme which is a free wordpress template I never had to pay anything for it.

I just installed the Customizr theme on a development install that I have and the plugin worked for me.

Just to confirm, you edit a post, check off the Disable wpautop checkbox above the publish/update button, save, view that post and that post content has P tags rapped around each line break.
