    Hello everyone!
I’m having a problem with the plugin. When I try to add a translation the save button does not work and continuously spins without the actual saving…
I’ve tried to deactivate and remove the plugin but the issue remains.

    Any clue?

    Thanks!

  • Hello,

    Thank you for reaching us!

Since this looks a lot like a conflict with some other code, the first recommended step is the conflict test (ideally in a staging environment):

??*Briefly* disable all other plugins and enable the default Twenty Twenty theme. Please also disable all add-ons. If this fixes the problem, as it probably will, enable everything one by one, checking each time to see when the problem returns.

Please let us know when you find the conflict so that we can take a look and see what we can do about it.

    Kind regards,

    Hi @sdenis,
Thanks for your help! I’ve troubleshoot the Plugins section and I found that the plugin “Essential Addons for Elementor” with the “Fancy Text” option, which basically act as a typewriter and changes the text with different passed values.

Thanks again for your help, and Happy new Year! Let’s hope for a better one =)

    Hello again @sdenis,
    Happy new Year!

I’ve noticed that there’s another kind of bug in the plugin: when switching language to translate (the website.com/IT for example) then Google SiteKit resets saying that the website URL has changed.

    Have a nice day!

    Hello Andrea,

Thank you for letting us know!

Thank you for reporting this as well, this issue is already replicated (Fancy Text Issue) and when the development team will have the time, they will fix this issue.

We will let you know about it.

    As for the:
When switching language to translate (the website.com/IT for example) then Google SiteKit resets saying that the website URL has changed.

I will try to replicate this issue and come back with an answer.

    Kind regards,

    Hello again @sdenis,
Did you manage to find out the cause of the Url change error?

Here’s the error it comes to me: “Looks like the URL of your site has changed. In order to continue using Site Kit, you’ll need to reconnect, so that your plugin settings are updated with the new URL. Reconnect”

This happens every time I hit translate and change language to translate a text.

    Thanks!
