Plugin not working … and settings page disappeared

Hi, I installed the plugin a few days ago, and after looking through the options I decided to leave everything at the defaults. Today I checked the dashboard and saw a Jet Pack needed to be updated. I tried to check the Easy Updates Manager settings on the Plugins page, but to my surprise, the settings link had vanished completely, and it’s not available from the Settings tab on the Dashboard either. Deactivating & reactivating didn’t work; neither did reinstalling. Following your troubleshooting page, I looked at wp-config.php, but the AUTOMATIC_UPDATER_DISABLED line is commented out, and there’s no DISABLE_WP_CRON line. (Note: I’m more-or-less a WP neophyte, and I don’t know PHP.) I’ll appreciate your help!
