Plugin not working anymore

  • After the update to version 1.16, the content of the hyperlink group is not shown anymore. I’ve tried to recreate the hyperlink group in the WordPress’ widgets section, but without any success.

    The group is correctly shown in the backend editor, but on the frontpage the content is missing.

    The generated HTML output is:

    <section id="block-44" class="widget widget_block"><a style="--color-text:;--color-bkg:;--color-bkg-hover:;" href="" class="wp-block-tiptip-hyperlink-group-block" data-wpel-link="internal"></a></section>

    No content between the <a>-tags. Any ideas how to fix this?

    WordPress version is 6.2.

  • Same here. No content in frontend anymore.
    Suddenly backend wrote: “Dieser Block enth?lt unerwarteten oder ungültigen Inhalt.” – a block recovery first shows it correct.
    After saving the page and reloading it … the content of the hyperlink-group-block is gone as well.

    If you have ‘saved’ your site please use ‘revisions’ and go back to get your content.

    Thanks for the patch.
    I have noticed that the styling is now broken following the update, for me there appears to be a div removed in the code, please see the screen grab here:

    I assume this could affect other websites?

    Thanks a lot for the fast patch! ??
    Its working so far… even links were kept.
    Exception: every time i reload the page, the error-message “this block contains unexpected or invalid content” appears again. Block recovery fixes it for the time I stay on the page.

    I tried it with placing a new hyperlink-group-block element, but it keeps “breaking” in the backend.

    Do you have any idea how to fix this?
