Hi There, sorry and frustrated to need to write.

Test adding any email to this page and you will see the error. If working and email is not in Audience it would send a double optin…

As part of looking I’ve got a new API key from mailchimp and used it to ensure Easyforms says “Connected”

    Notes:
    1) Nonce validation in general is set to No but was previously Yes… neither helps
    2) debug settings shows : Page: class.public_ajax.php || Type: Send Update Profile Email – Get Member Info. || Time: August 8, 2018 8:01 pm
3)Totally separate to your plugin I see Mailchimp for woocommerce is not connecting either and is showing a code error I do not know how to resovle: Mailchimp says: API Request Error – on 1623 in /home/wwwsecre/secretgarden.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/mailchimp-for-woocommerce/includes/api/class-mailchimp-api.php

any ideas you can help with?

    thanks and sorry again, Tim

    Hi Tim,

What is the error that you’re seeing? Are you able to edit forms? Are you seeing any issues when trying to add or remove fields from your forms?

    Let me know.

    Thank you,
    Kevin.

Thanks Kevin, I can edit forms but though it says Connected in Green there are no associated lists found and therefore the fields say … this field no longer exists in the list… etc… as I said, I connected a new API key and there is a list for sure in mailchimp

    does that help?

I think your IP address is being blocked by Mailchimp. Here’s my usual response for this error.

Your IP address is being blocked by MailChimp. This is the most common reason for the error; MailChimp will block you (via a service called Akamai) if your IP address has been responsible for malicious things like spam. This happens the most in shared hosting environments where other websites share an IP address with you. It doesn’t mean that you were responsible for the malicious behavior but rather that someone else was using your current IP address and now it is compromised. To resolve this, get in touch with your server team and ask them to change you to a new IP address.

We’re building out a feature right now that will tell you whether you’re being blocked. That should be released within a week or so.

    Hi Tim,

I am not sure what’s going on but we will be releasing a new version where you can check if you’re being blocked next week. Once that is released we’ll have a better understanding of this situation.

    Thank you,
    Kevin.

Hi Tracy, the plugin is working now for us anyway, to be honest I ‘m not sure what changed, it seems the mailchimp connection broke and now works again

I like the debug and integration settings sections I’ve not seen before… great to have this working with Woo … I will check it out now

Thanks for your great work, Tim
